  • PSS was engaged to complete a company wide spend assessment on $200M+ in spend & in turn execute on sourcing categories.
  • Managed sourcing process for 16 categories with $74.8M in combined spend. Categories completed and implemented include:
    • Transportation (Small Parcel/LTL/FTL)
    • Indirects (Travel, Utilities, Scrap, Temp Labor, Uniforms)
    • Health & General Insurance
    • MRO & Outsourced Processes
    • Metals, Components
    • Oils & Lubricants

Outcome

  • PSS achieved significant savings ($9.3M) and was able to take advantage of market conditions
  • Savings on certain categories were as high as 18% (on MRO Category)
  • Currently Tracking at 12.5% in savings for categories completed
  • Developed roadmap for new Center-led strategic sourcing team
